All costs will be reimbursed after the event. Students should pay for their accommodation at the Venue (Hotel Palace). About 1-2 months after the school, trainees will be reimbursed by the COSY COST Project.

COSY will support the accommodation for up to five nights (from September 18 to September 23) at "Hotel Palace" with an agreed price of EUR 80/day (EUR 400/5 days) in a regime of "full board" and travel costs (maximum EUR 500).

Trainees should receive an invitation from the e-COST system soon.

Attendance

The attendance will be restricted to 31 students from abroad (MSc, PhD students, and young researchers eligible for COST funding) funded by the COST Action CA21101. The School can welcome up to 7 students from the Belgrade region. The School also accepts applications from candidates with their own financial sources. Lunches and all meals will be included in the overall price (see Venue) for the 5-night stay in the hotel. All participants must fill out an application form (Registration Form), which includes a short CV, a motivation letter, and a short recommendation letter. Scientific Committee will classify students according to COST rules, including balancing career stage, gender, and countries of work. The acceptance will be notified by July 15th at the latest.

Registration Form

Reimbursement

Students will have to sign the attendance for each day of the School, according to the COST regulations. About 1-2 months after the School, trainees will be reimbursed by the COSY COST Project. COSY will support the accommodation for up to five nights (from September 18 to September 23) at "Hotel Palace" with an agreed price of EUR 80/day in a regime of "full board" and travel costs (maximum EUR 500). In order to be reimbursed, students should submit ticket receipts with the reimbursement claim and carry out their obligations which will be specified by the COST rules.

Local students

Local students (from Serbia) can also attend the School. They need to send an application letter in the same way as all other students. The maximum number of local students is 7.

Self-financing

The School also accepts applications from candidates that have their own source of funding. They will pay for hotel accommodation (the full package), travel expenses, and the registration fee of EUR 200, which should be paid in advance. They can be MSc students, PhD students, and postdocs. In the application form, they should indicate that they have other sources of financing; otherwise, their applications will be processed as any other.

COST Schools & eligibility

COST training schools are open to young researchers (MSc, PhD students, and postdocs) from any nationality or country. However, due to space and funds limitations, following the COST association rules, the preference will be given to students working in laboratories from countries participating to the CA21101 action. Also eligible are some laboratories specifically associated with the actions in Nearest Neighbor Countries. See the websites of the actions COSY for details. ONLY students working in those laboratories are eligible for COST financial support. This support shall cover the local expenses and travel expenses.
